A Safe and Happy School
We define behavior expectations at Marsh as the "3 C's"
CAPABLE: Showing "I can" by being persistent in mastering new skills and taking responsibility for my actions.
COOPERATIVE: Working together so everyone can be safe and everyone can learn.
CARING: Thinking of others and being a good friend.
We teach, practice, and reinforce these expectations in every area of our school. Each morning we begin our day with "The Sunshine Report" with the morning's announcements. "The Sunshine Report" celebrates safe and caring things we've noticed kids doing for each other. It reminds us about what's possible in the way we treat each other. "The Sunshine Report" is followed by a "Message from Kid Crane" about a new social skill we are learning about that week.
